Then you will need the traditional ingredients: Cream, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, ginger, orange peel, and cardamom. Most drinkers will use orange peel for flavoring. In Vietnamese, they also have a white rice milk powder which mom makes for their infants. Now that you have your ingredients, you can start to prepare your horchata recipe. First, you need to prepare the ingredients for your Horchata drink recipe. You will need to put all the ingredients into a blender. Blend the ingredients thoroughly until all of it gets blended. Now you have to put the blended mixture into your fridge. Now that you have your ingredients, what you need to do next is to add the baby milk. Make sure that the baby milk is in its frozen state. For the boba milk to stay in its frozen state, it needs to be placed in its refrigerator. Then you can pour it into the blender and mix it well. Once it becomes blended, it can now be added to your horchata drink recipe. Now that you have your horchata recipe ready, it is now time to add in the other ingredients which will make it a more refreshing drink. You will need to put in fresh ginger, cinnamon, vanilla, and even orange rind. These ingredients will give your drink a delicious taste as well as make it very refreshing. Now that you have your horchata recipe ready, you can now cook all the ingredients together. Once the cooking process is done, you just need to mix it all. Now you can drink it right away. Of course, to prepare the condensed milk, you will need to bring your rice cooker or a pot of water to boil. Once the condensed milk is done, you can drink and enjoy it. If you want to make it a little richer, you can always add a pinch of nutmeg or a few cardamom pods. Another way to enhance the drink recipe further is to garnish it with some crushed cinnamon sticks. This is actually how I personally make my Horchata. I take a whole stack of cinnamon sticks and place them on top of my steamed white rice. I then place my glass of this wonderful beverage inside the pot of water and let it steep for approximately five minutes. Then I simply take the drink out of the pot and reheat it. If you are looking for a great summertime drink, I suggest brewing a horchata with some crushed almonds. You can make it any way you like, but the best part is that you can drink it very early in the morning when the almonds are just about fully ripe. They taste best when they are still slightly warm from being stored in the fridge.
